Updates to txGradebook that have occurred since the last release are listed below.
Administrative Access, Admin Student Grades
The page was modified to correct the error that occurred when a student withdrew from a campus and enrolled at another campus on the same date. (STU5044)
Attendance, Post/View Attendance
The page was modified to correct the error that caused the Period field to default to the wrong period when empty courses (i.e., courses in which no students are currently enrolled) were unposted. Now the page defaults to the correct period. (STU4772)
Grades, Cycle Grades
The page was modified:
To display the working final average as follows: (STU4270)
The working final average includes the posted semester average for any previous semesters and the working semester average for the current semester.
If a posted semester average exists for the current semester, the posted semester average is used in the final average calculation. If there is no posted semester average for the current semester but an override semester grade exists, the override grade is used in the final average calculation.
The working final average is recalculated if a semester exam is administered or an override grade is entered for the current semester.
For students who were enrolled in a different section of the same course during a previous semester, the working final average includes the posted semester average for the other section (RSCCC only).
The working final average is not displayed for campuses that use the semester grading concept.
To display posted semester averages for previous semesters when the second or last semester is selected. (STU4270)
A previous semester average is not displayed for one-semester courses or two-semester courses that give exams every other semester.
For four-semester courses that give exams every other semester, the previous semester average is displayed.
For four-semester courses that give exams every semester, the three previous semester averages are displayed.
Grades, Interim Progress Reports
The page was modified to correct the misalignment that occurred if an assignment note was added to the IPR. (STU4852)
Reports, Missing Averages Report Selection
The page was modified to provide an option to include self-paced courses on the report. (STU4017)
Reports, UIL Report
The report was modified:
To filter grades using the working cycle average if a grade is entered in the Show only students with at least one grade below field.
To display the posted cycle grade for the current cycle if it exists. If there is no posted grade for the current cycle, the report will display the override grade if it exists. Otherwise, the working cycle average will be displayed for the current cycle.
Student Profile, Schedule
The page was modified to provide an option to show or hide courses from which the student has withdrawn. (STU4972)
System, Grade Averaging
The program was modified:
To correct the error that occurred if a student transferred from a course that posts letter grades to a course that posts numeric grades, a letter grade was entered for his transfer average, and he had no assignment grades in the new course. Previously, the working cycle average was not displayed for the transfer student (iTCCS only). (iTCCS1167)
To include only the transfer average in the working cycle average for a transfer student who has a grade of zero for all assignments. (STU5084)
To display a student’s working cycle average as a numeric grade if the student transferred from a course that posts letter grades to a course that posts numeric grades, even if a letter grade was entered for the transfer average.
